Susp Lift vs Body Lift

Whats the difference between suspension lift kit and a body lift kit? I want to put bigger tires on my truck (315/70/17 on 2001 f150 supercrew 4x4) and it looks a 3" lift kit is the best choice for me. I've looked online for lift kits but I keep seeing 2 types Suspension & Body.

If I want to just use bigger tires would a body lift kit be the way to go. I don't want to have to replace my whole suspension. Thanks

Body lift just raises the body of the truck off of the frame. After a body lift you will have to raise your exhaust up and install gap guards. With a 4x4, you can fit 35s on aftermarket wheels with 4.5in backspacing. Little trimming required.
