Angry How should I lift it?

Hey all...

I'm new here and I was wondering if ya'll could help me out.

I have a 2001 2WD F-150 SuperCrew. It's way too low to the ground! I know I need to level out the front end (any suggestions?), but I want to go with about a six inch lift after I level it. I don't really know much about lifting/suspensions (body lifts, new suspension, extra leaf springs, bigger coils, etc...) Also, I want to spend as little as possible.

Any ideas/tips/suggestions would be awesome! (Please let me know what products work well with my truck and how much they cost)

Thanks!!

-Michael

If you want 6 inches of lift, I'd suggest going with a Performance Accessories 3 inch body lift. Then you can add a pair of lift spindles for another 3 or 3.5 inches of lift. You can find pretty good deals on Doestch lift spindles on Ebay. As for the rear, you can add a 3 or 4 inch lift block to get the height you desire.

I agree with wandell. I had the 3.5 inch spindles from doetsch on my old truck (same as yours) and loved them! You could add the 3 inch body lift for 6.5 inches. and there you are ready to add 35's!

Here is the link for the spindles : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...spagenameZWDVW

then the body lift is about 200-300. installation varies around the country on those. Also if you wanted more lift just add a 2.5 in level kit! This is why i love the 97-03 2wd, they are so easy to lift!

He has a point! 7.5 inches of lift equals a six inch on a 4x4.
