Fabtech bankrupt!!! told not to buy.

Hey guys

Well i was jsut at the tire shop inquiring about tires and i got him to see if there was any fabtech kits around well the guys he called said that fabtech will be going out of buisness in 2 months, that they forfited their 20 000 dollar sema booth because they couldnt afford to build a truck for it. so ive been told not to buy Fabtech because if i have any warranty or parts issues i wont be able to do anything about it. i was into the fabtech because it offered 6" while "keeping the same front driveline geometry" as far as i could tell that meant that i would not wear out parts as fast. also because it was the only company that would fit a manual transmission anyways does anyon know of a good 4 inch kit that will work with a manual trans? i guess ill have to keep searching.

again this i jsut what i heard from a guy who was told by another guy so im not sure if its accually true.

First I've heard of this. Did he happen to try and push another kit on you?

i HIGHLY doubt that, 1. because we just became a fabtech dealer...again & started to get kits in stock 2. because fabtech is a huge company with too many resources for that

next time im on the phone with someone from fabtech I'll ask though

I'd steer clear of that tire shop. They don't know what the hell they're talking about. Makes you wonder.
