They may have been. But I just went and bought a 7.5" fabtech lift and the guys at 4 wheel parts said.. "We will sell you the lift, but theres a good chance fabtech might not be around this time next year. So dont break anything on it! If you buy the lift and something breaks then we might not be able to get it replaced."
They were probably setting you up to push some ProCrap product on you...
