Leveling a 2002 screw fx4..

Any way to do this? There are no coil springs, and I don't see what I can tighten to raise the front end? Not really interested in a body lift right now though, wouldn't level the ride anyway. Any help would be appreciated, especially with pics! Thanks!

crank the torsion bars

I have the same model truck. You have to crank the torsion bars to raise and level the front end.

do a search, or even look down 1 or 2 pages of this forum. Plenty of info on it.

Here's a pic of one of the torsion bars, the adjustment cam and the bolt. The torsion bar is the long round bar, the adjustment key is covered in surface rust. There is one on each side of the truck. Just turn each adjustment bolt an equal number of turns. Don't forget to get an alignment afterwards.

One of the bolts has about 5/8" showing the other about 3/8"... can I turn them all the way in? It still sits pretty low, will it do much? Maybe I will have to rethink the body lift sooner.. but it will still be stinkbugged.

Wandell- How did you get yours to sit as level as it is?

Thanks for the replies!

Trick photography! Mine is a little nose low, the pics just make it look level. It's not unusual for the two bars to have different amounts of preload. I would crank them both an equal number of turns. When you have it aligned, ask the tech if he can crank the other one up and keep the alignment within specs.
