I will get a picture of the truck up tonight. I don't have one of the spindle. It is close to rubbing the spindle that connects the upper and lower control arms. Earlier this year I had the ball joints go bad on the passenger side and the top of the tire was actually rubbing the spindle. I could smell rubber burning and there was this ring around the inside of my old tire.

blackflareside, just to be clear we are talking about a 4x4 right? if it is a 4x4 i think it might be your lift, or maybe your backspacing, do you have 10" wide rims?

yeah, it is a 4x4 with a 5 inch superlift and 3 inch body lift with add a leafs and the torsion bars cranked all the way. got about 10 inches of lift. I have 16.5x9.75 wheels. Not sure on the backspacing. Still trying to get pictures up. Right now the drive shaft is laying in the back of my bed. Did a burn out last night in the parking lot for all my friends. I was spinning those 38's pretty good when the rear yoke on the differential broke. So that is my latest project. SHould have it back together in a couple of hours.

not familair with the superlift, but i think it is your backspacing, 4.5 is what you will need to run 15.5" tires, unless it is your lift that is the culprit i will need pics to verify, well till then, good luck on the yoke, axles, and driveshaft yokes dont like to do burnouts with oversized tires, it is asking for breakage

Well heres the most recent pic. After this pic I have painted the front and rear bumpers white(only the metal part), removed the license plate to move it about my rear view mirror in the windshield, and got rid of that yellowed FORD emblem and just stripped it to chrome.

blackflareside, well it looks like you are as wide as you can go with your current lift, unless you find some used fabtech steering knuckles(they are called steering knuckles not spindles on the 4x4) good luck
