ball joints

I have been reading myford's post about ball joint repacement, and I have been told by a mechanic that my ball joints are worn out also. I have a 98 f-150, with 101k mileage.

I have a mechanic friend that is going to help me replace them, but my question is where is the best place to purchase the parts I need. And do y'all believe this is a common problem for this mileage.

thanks
willieboy

Yes very common at that high of mileage. And place to buy them depends on where you're located. Just get MOOG brand parts.
