Help me make a decision!
Ok I am really confused and undecided as to what I should do with my F150. I have been pondering for months how to lift my 2wd. Ive narrowed it down to 3" spindles or 3" body lift with 285's. Which one should I go with. Spindles seem easier and less intrusive of an install, but are way more expensive. A body lift doesnt look as good but is CHEAP!
Furthermore where is the cheapest place to get spindles? 4wheelparts wants almost $600! They also claim that these spindles are ProComp and that they ont carry Bulleye because they would not honor warranty claims.
Please help me clear the air and decide, this lowrider truck is killing me!
Sorry so long and thanks for helping!

brew1891,
go with the spindles. I bought a set from 4wheel wholesellers for $415.00. They were procomp but the instructions said BULLEYES. I think you should call the Redondo Beach store and get the right info. This location has got some of the best personnel among all their stores. I would not go with the body lift even though it is cheaper, spindles are the way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for. Hope this helped.

Go with the spindles. You will be happier with the over all look and performance(you gain ground clearance with the spindles, not so with a body lift.$415 may sound like alot now, but later on you don't want to be saying,"if I only spend another $300.........."

Actually Roadrage, The ONLY way to gain ground clearence is larger tires. Your axles are the closest things to the ground. The only way to get them up is BIG MEATS. Now Since both the spindle lift and Body Lifts allow for larger tires then they both Give to more ground clearence.

Thanks for all the help! Im sure spindles are the way to go its just the money part, spindles pretty much delay the shocks and bushings. If im reading my differential tag right i have 3.55 gears. Are there smaller gears in the F150s? Anyone know how well they turn 285's(BFG AT's)? What will the ratio be with these larger tires? Ah decision, decisions!
