Question Mixing Bullseye spindle + 3.5" Fabtech = DAMAGE (??)

Ok...heres the story. I wanted Off Road Warehouse, in San Diego, too install a Fabtech 3.5 kit and Bullseye spindles on my Y2K F150 2wd. They absolutly REFUSE to do it! They said Bullseye wont honor the warranty on their spindles if they are added to the Fabtech...so either will ORW. The reason is too much leverage on the lower ball joints of the spindles with the added lift. I asked about the 'updated' design of the Bullseye's taking care of this...they said it doesnt fix that problem when a FabTech kit is added. Also, Fabtech is due to come out with their own spindles that CAN be added to their 3.5" kit...and they are supposed to offer it as a package lift.

I know alot of guys here are already running this setup, so Im wondering if anyone has had any problems yet. Other shops locally are still doing the Bullseye/FabTech mix..but ORW's response is that they dont warrant their work for the LIFE of the lift so they arent concerned with breakage. ORW has a lifetime warranty on their labor so they flat refuse to combine these too lifts. I just wanted to put this out there for everyone because of the popularity of this combination.

Responses/Opinions?

Well when I was shopping for my lift I talked to the guys at bullseye very frequently. I was told by them that it is true that they don't warrant their spindle when you stack another lift on them. They said their spindles are made for only a application to get 3 inches in front. The other companies(like fab tech) have made a kit that uses the bullseye spindle but bullseye does not approve and can't do anything to stop them but not warrant their spindle and highly discourage it when asked. Mudder as far as a spindle lift for 4wd I am completely not sure but I would think that the spindle the 2wds use will not work since your front end is a little different with the front driveshafts. But of course I am not for sure just my theory. You can call bullseye at 619-596-0950.

Guys, If Ffabtech sells the spindles and sells them as a kit and their kit is warrateed then the spindles are part of the warranty also.......They sell the 7.6 inch lift as a kit...if they do that, if they dont warranty it what are they telling the customer..they dont trust there product...I will email fabtech later....and get back with ya....Dave

I had no idea FabTech was using Bullseye's with their kit. If that's the case then maybe they are a different part in someway to adjust the balljoint angle. Dave, i look forward to hearing your info from FabTech. Also, Ive never heard of a 7.6" lift from Fab..i was told (by ORW) that the new kit will be 6.5" with 3" spindles stacked onto their existing 3.5" kit.

I just got off the phone with Fabtech. They said that their spindles will be available in about 30 to 45 days. When used with their 3.5 coil/a arm system you'll get 6.5 inches of lift. They also have a long travel system coming out in about 30 days. It is a 7.5 inch lift which also has an optional single or dual shock setup. Unlike the spindles and original coil/a arm setup which can be used separately, you must get the entire 7.5 lift if you want the long travel kit. He didn't have a price for the long travel kit yet. But you can bet when it's available, I'll have my bullseye spindles and 3.5 coils/a arms for sale.
