Question standard bed

Does anyone know if Ford will offer a standard size bed on the F-150 Supercrew?

For the forseeable future, if you want a Ford truck with a crew cab and a standard bed, you have to get an F-250 or an F-350. You can see all the possible combinations for the 2002 and 2003 model years by going to www.fordvehicles.com and following the links to "build your own truck".

Unless you haul around a lot of stuff, you will rarely miss the longer bed. I have no complaints wit the shorter bed, makes it a whole lot easier to park too!

Talking short bed no prob

I have had no probs with the short bed.....yesterday i hauled my new cervinis hood in the huge box they packed it in to the painters.....I did have to have the tailgate down but no problems.

now if there were other things that were too short that would be a problem

AH HAH ! This is the documented proof I've been looking for that the hood of a supercrew is actually larger than the bed!
Your Honor, the prosecution rests.

As Mr. Spock would say: logically that only proves that the packing box that the hood came in is bigger than the bed. It still remains to be seen if the hood inside is bigger.

Unhappy

Objection Your Honor!
I move that the last comment be stricken from the record as it is very detrimental to my case.

Have y'all been following the new 2004 F150 (Rumors, Facts, Speculation) forum on this web site? (here's the link: https://www.f150online.com/forums/fo...?s=&forumid=80 )

There are some links to photos of an alledged 2004 Supercrew. Check out these in particular:

http://www.fordtruckworld.com/forums/topic.asp?id=91556

Is it my imagination or is that bed about a half a foot or a foot longer than before? Check out the comments from other posters, at that second link, concerning the bed length as well.

Hmmm. Could be.
