Does Screw have Latch System for Infant Seats?

Yes the 02 supercrew has lower anchors and tethers, they are located on the back seat between the upper seat back and the lower seat back where the two pieces come together. They are the small "U" shaped protrubences (sp) to which you will hook the tethers on the lower portion of the car seat. You also need to hook the upper tether to the previously referenced straps which are visible when you pull the seat forward. Of course to put these to use you will also need to have a "latch" tether equipped car seat. A good rule of thumb when installing car seats is no more than 1 inch of travel fore & aft, and side to side in the belt path. Although, if using the latch system, you wont actually be using the belt path I believe. All this information is available in your owners manual, and in the manual which came with your car seat. Please verify all I have said in the referenced manuals.

I have an 02 Screw XLT and definately DO NOT have the latch system. I have another vehicle with the latch system and two car seats using them, so it's not like I don't know what to look for. I guess it just depends on when your truck was made? And by the way, I don't have leather, so that can't be it.

Could someone please post a photo of the Latches & Tethers. We have an '01 SCrew and have the straps velcroed to the backs of the rear seats, but are wondering what the latches look like. Behind the 60% part of the rear seat we have what looks like a U-Bolt welded to the body of the truck, would this be part of the latch & tether system? Thanks for any info.
