Question 2002 Screw center armrest removal

Hello all!

I'm researching some leather seat covers for my 02 Screw. Typical wear and tear especially on the drivers seat outer edge. I intend to have this truck for a long time and it needs to get fixed.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any tips or advice on how to go about removing and tearing down the armrest so I can replace the coverings on it. I've got the 60/40 front bench with the fold up armrest.

Thanks in advance!
DBC
BTW - I'm using Leatherseats.com for my new covers. If anyone's used them before let me know!

It bolts in. Driver side is just behind the plastic cover. Passenger lower bolt is accessed by pressing the cushion down

Thanks for the reply. Would you be able to be a little more specific?

I'm fairly new at removing all of this so as much detail as you can provide would be great.

Extra points for photos!

LH bracket has clam style plastic covers on them, the you can access the bolts
RH bracket push the seat foam down (under the corner of the console) and you'll see it

Click through my shifter thread you might find a helpful picture in the beginning of the thread
