2001 plastic bed rail cover question?

Afternoon, I bought this 2001 ford f-150 super crew cab that has the plastic liner on top side of bed running the length, my question is....are there any square holes along the top side under the plastic?, or, how do I remove it to see, I installed a tool box also, Im with a local Boy Scout Troop with my son and my other truck I installed tie down loops along the bed, I would like to do the same with chrome ones if possable. Thanks for your time, catfishingharry in Texas

I had an 01 but never had it off,on the 03had to replace drivers side rail cap. It just snapped on ( will probably brake the retaining clips when removing ) the remaining clips broke on mine. I don't remember seeing any stake pockets under it. the tie downs are in the bed. just my 2 cents
