I can only imagine the fun the guys in the assembly plants and dealer prep areas must have been having to prompt this TSB. All mine had was a nice little message from my salesbabe. Service Bulletin Number: 14916 Bulletin Sequence Number: 201 Date of Bulletin: 0105 NHTSA Item Number: SB620182 Make: FORD TRUCK Model: F150 Year: 2001 Component: EQUIPMENT Summary: SOME SUPERCREWS ARE EQUIPPED WITH A DIGITAL MEMO RECORDER MOUNTED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE SUN VISOR WHICH ALLOWS MEMOS TO BE RECORDED, THEN PLAYED BACK AT A LATER TIME AS A PERSONAL REMINDER. TO ENSURE THAT ANY UNINTENDED MESSAGES ARE NOT LEFT ON THE DEVICE, PLEASE DELETE ANY EXISTING MESSAGES AT THE DEALERSHIP. ALL TEST MESSAGES ARE DELETED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT FROM THE ASSEMBLY PLANT. I took delivery and there was a very vulgar message on mine. It was disturbing. The contents of the message made me believe that's there a serious problem with the quality control at the KC plant. This particular "recording artist" said that he urinated on my seats and that I was a rich bastard...

hmmm.... I don't know about the urination part, but is there something he knows that I don't?

Where's that lost bank account?????????

There is always class envy in this world...I don't think it says anything about KC quality...besides, it sounds like they are going to make sure the memory is cleared before shipment from now on anyhow.
