Supercrew offset crash

I got this picture from the general discussion area of this forum. Looks like an actual offset crash. Looks like the Supercrew does very well.

SBR,

Obviously there are no known facts but, I hope my Screw looks that good if I get hit or hit something at this offset. A couple of observations: I think you can just see some lettering on the bed, which may indicate its a 4x4 and it looks like it may have been hit by something that was very low to the ground. Still, all in all it looks pretty good.

oh, i certainly hope noboby thinks that picture is an accurate depiction of how well an s-crew would do in an offset crash. we have no idea at what speed the accident occurred and have no idea what other type of vehicle or structure was involved...

It has chrome capped mirrors so it has to be a 2 wheel drive right?

XLT models have chrome capped mirrors on both 4 and 2 wheel drive versions.

actually it appears that my xlt 4x4 has a piece of plastic that is body colored that is snapped onto the back of the black case which holds the side mirrors...hope that makes sense?

This is not the hill I want to die on Norm, but according to the Ford website...and every xlt 4 x 4 I have looked at.....they get the color inserts. The only way to get chrome is xlt 4 x 2.

I suppose it is possible I am wrong....hmmmmmm...where did you get your info.?
