Mine pulls a 18' equipment trailer with different stuff on it. Most of the time its got wood or atvs on it, but it sometimes pulls a big newholland. It also pulls a 8 cu. yard dump trailer full of mulch or dirt.

@F150 Man 4Eva
Awesome setup! How do you like that Ecoboost towing? I'm really starting to like those silver trucks.

Well, I pulled that boat all last year with my 2005 King Ranch 4x4 Crew..5.4 with 3.73's with 35x12.5 Nitto Trail Graps... I did have intake, duals, and custom gryphon tunes.

This Eco with 3.73s and 34x11 tires..is like night and day to the 05. Don't get me wrong..you feel it. That setup with a full tank of gas and cooler loaded with iced down beverages is somewhere between 8-9k. But the Eco pulls it VERY well. It accellerates with little effort. New 6 spd tranny is SOOOOO much better than the old 4. I LOVE IT! Towing MPG is only about 1 above the 05..but soo much better as a whole.

Thanks for the complitment.

Changing Horses

My 2001 2WD 5.4 Screw pulled my 2005 Rockwood 8318SS Travel Trailer (6800 lbs empty/ 7800 loaded). I only had about 215 miles towing range with the old 5.4 and the overdrive locked out.

I just got a 2011 4X4 SCrew 5.0 with a 36 gallon tank. I'm predicting about 350 mile range (or better) with the tow/haul 6 speed.
