Where can I find the low pressure A/C valve?

I need to check the freon level in a 2001 F150 5.4L Supercab. I found a black cap on an A/C line on the passenger side, but the nozzle for the R134 refrigerant won't fit on it. It's supposed to be between the condenser and the compressor. It started to pour down rain during my search so it was cut short. Can someone help me out?

Thanks-
Ted

No, it isn't. That's the high side.
The lines between the compressor and the condenser are HP gas.
Condenser to orifice tube is HP liquid.
Orifice tube to evaporator is LP liquid.
Evap to compressor is LP gas.
