FX4 decal sizes

I have a 2003 F-150 Supercrew FX4, and today I thought the driver-side bed decal looked bigger than the passenter-side decal, and I did some measurements, and the D-side is actually 2 inches larger than the P-side. I think one is about 15 inches and the other around 13. Hmm, anyone else noticed this???

Quick question, did you buy this truck when it was new?

nope, did a carfax though, no wrecks. Could it be a factory mess up and put a Ford Ranger one on? I'm not really concerned with it, just curious. I guess I could always buy some off of Ebay and replace it, but I hate trying to make sure I get decals lined up. I might just remove them though. I hear a lot of people do that. Mine is white with the graphite grey trim on the fenders and bumper. Might look good...

Chances are that bed panel was replaced the body shop used the wrong decal.

If the truck got side swiped in a parking lot and the panel had to be replaced, it's not gonna show up in Carfax. I had the entire passenger side body on my 97 F-150 replaced and it never showed up in Carfax. If you looked real hard, the body shop didn't copy the factory pin striping exactly.

If it really bothers, like it would me, I would go ahead and get some new decals from ebay, or remove them like you said. Good luck.

Well, I set up some spot lights and heated up the decals and removed them this morning, and I really like the look. It's clean, sharp, and it defines the truck. Thanks for the suggestions.
