Cool Picking up a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew 4wd No Boundaries

First post here...wanted to see if the depth of knowledge here can answer some questions on my new acquisition.

I am buying a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew 4wd XLT with the No Boundaries leather package. It appears the package includes upgraded leather seating and fancier wheels.

The truck has 31662 miles and is in excellent condition. I'm paying just under $18K for it.

Anyone familiar with this No Boundaries package? Seller claims it was an $1800 option new. I couldn't find squat about it online. Not sure what all is included with the package over a regular XLT model.

Any insights are welcome in this regard. Either way I'm excited and look forward to taking deliver of this truck. I don't think I'm gonna miss my 1997 Mountaineer...which is for sale in central MO btw.....

Thanks!

:^D

I have never heard of the package before. I'm guessing it is an aftermarket package that the local dealer had installed. The XLT never came with leather from the factory. If the wheels aren't the 17" aluminum 10-spoke, the sawtooth from the Off-Road package or the chrome lariat wheels, then for sure it was an aftermarket add-on.

I have heard of No Boundries before- Its an aftermarket (usually dealer installed) company that installs leather seating, steering wheel covers and dash insets. They add a badge to the fender, and mark the price up. I've seen this done on vehicles that are left on the lot toward the end of the season, and the dealer wants to move them- so they install the aforementioned. Most of the installs that I've seen would put any of the big three to shame- the leather work is beautiful! Good luck and have fun!

Looks like the KR wheel. Also, the leather looks similar to a KR Screw. Nice truck though. My 02 has just over 27k miles. Yours is low for an 01....nice score.

It gets better....

I was checking on extended service plans with Ford and discovered the prior owner had already purchased a Premium ESP on the truck that was still active....good to 2006 or 75K miles.

All I need is a waiver from the prior owner and $50 and its mine with the truck....a $1400+ value! I can't believe she didn't cancel and get the unearned premium refunded...probably a couple hundred $$.

Dealer says she has agreed to do the waiver so I'm stoked!!
