Just turned 157,000 miles, and still running strong, fourth set of tires and many many sets of brakes.

 

Yeah well i only have 39,000km and have had TWO trany rebuilds, lol HOORAY for me

 

2001 Screw XLT 4x4 - just under 135K. Just did the second trans service (first was at 100K). Have had the Edge Evo installed since 40K or so. Changed plugs and COP at 70K due to misfire. Other than normal maintenance items, the truck has been flawless. It even has several thousand miles of towing at or above the rated capacity.

 

01 Supercrew 4x4 with 175k on it. Some repair issues to deal with so searching this forum for some answers!....

still running strong!

 

I have a 2002 stock red, 4.6L, 4x2 with 208,087 miles. i had to rebuild the trans and some work the timing chain.

 

brother in law has a 01 screw 4.6 and it has 230,414 original engine tranny and rearend, she aint gonna make it much longer though running on 6 cylinders and blowing oil out of the top of the motor

 

2001 F150 Supercrew 4X4 295,032 miles

5.4L engine all original, and original tranny. Oil changed every 3000 miles, Tranny flushed every 50,000 miles.

Exhaust manifold gasket - 85,000
Left front wheel bearing - 125,000
Upper ball joints - 185,000
Rebuilt rear end - 235,000
Emergency Brake cable 295,000

 

the only repair work done is, one spark plug change, and three COP's changed.....hence the spark plug change...lol

04 crew 98,000m. just got it two days ago.

 

03 S'crew - 162,000 - fluids, filters, one set of sparkplugs, brakes, tires and two batteries. OH - and some wiring that the chipmunks ate.

 

2001 Screw XLT 4x4 4.6L w/ 187,000 miles. Just burnt out piston #2 and having the motor swapped with a salvaged motor that has 90K. I hope the tranny holds out because I really like the truck....
