How much HP???

Hi all, Ihave a 2002 Harley truck. I was thinking about adding a lower pulley 2, and diablo chip, any Idea's on how much HP that would add. The truck is listed at 340 hp now. Any other suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

K-Man-

Welcome! Great choice in trucks! Did you get gray?

I have a chart I will need to dig up that will help relate boost increase to HP gains. I will try to post information soon.

Thumbs up

Thanks guys, I work at Kansas city assembly plant where they are made. Love ford trucks but this one just jumped out at me. I went with the black, #8436. Just looking for a few more horses.
Thanks for the info guys. Later

Better yet go over to the HD forum and see what improvements they are getting out of what mods. From what I've seen they are responding just as well as the Lightnings.

Soon the they will have to start "the list" of quarter mile times just like the L guys did.

K-Man...

Congrats on buying the best damn truck on the planet!

Hit the HD forums for info, but there are a number of things you should consider.

First, the intake sucks. Either cut a hole in the bottom of it and put a K&N panel filter in it or get an aftermarket intake like an Air Force One or something similar. (I have the AF1 and love it).
I got more than a pound more of boost just by letting the truck breathe better.

I put a 4lb JDM lower, superchip, breather cap, and AF1 intake on my truck. It really woke it up! Mike Troyer can hook you up with the chip, and AF1, and he is also able to sell JDM parts. Look him up on the board here. I think he is superchips_distributor or something along those lines. (he hangs out in the chip forum). He will really take care of you and owns an L, so he knows your motor.

I am headed for a BABOLT throttle body next... It is quite a work of art. Accufab makes one, too, but I like the custom look of BABOLTs TB as he will etch a logo that goes with your truck on top of it.

www.babolt-ons.com if you wanna see that little gem.

good luck and email me if you have any specific questions...

Ken

ken800 thanks for the info. When drilling a hole on the bottom of your intake, how big should it be and where exactly did you drill it? I all ready have the KN filter. And will the hole make a noticable difference?
Thanks for your time. Later
