8-Rib Conversion... Ran into trouble...need advice

Hi everyone. So we are knee deep in the 8 rib conversion. We have installed all the Ford factory pulley's as described elsewhere on this forum. The only issue is that the water pump pulley appears to be pushed too far out... by about 1-2 mil. Enough that it tears off the inside single rib of the 8 rib belt.

Anyone have a suggestion what to do? Those of you that have done the upgrade did you have this issue?

For reference it's a 2007 F150 5.4 with a Whipple.

Thanks

Solved. The Mustang pulley did the trick.

Glad it worked out! Odd that the water pump pulley created an issue. How does the ac compressior pulley line up? I had issues with mine which resulted in belt squeal. Simply pressed the bearing out 1/8th of an inch and the cured it. I need to update my post about that.

Yea it was weird the factory F150 w/p Pulley didn't work...mustang one fitnlike a glove though! We had to slightly relocate the AC compressor but according to shop was no problem. Truck is all buttoned up and should go to tuner this week. With 10% overdrive Pulley and 2.85 versus previous 3.0 s/c Pulley should put down some nice numbers!
