need help for my build
Hi there,
I'm having my engine rebuilt, I'll tell you what I have now, what I think I should get and I'd love to get you guys opinion, and better if you could all agree on what I should do.
I'm not mechanic savvy, I get people's opinion then I order the parts then I get a garage to do the install.
Here is what I currently have
at 14PSI it is making 450rhwp/550rwtq on 92 octane
2006 F150 5.4 4WD, supercab, 6.5ft bed
FRPP Hot Rod Cams
LT Headers
True dual + electric exhaust cut-outs
Electric fans
Ported Roush supercharger (Eaton M112 1.85L) with factory roush air box
2.8 upper
4lbs lower
stock fuel pump + K&B Boost A Pump
JDM tune
5.4 engine is getting rebuilt by Manny, specs below http://mhpengines.com/54_shortblocks
*Forged stage 2 shortblock good for 900 hp
*Cobra jet crankshaft 4.165 stroke
*Manley h beam rods
*Manley forged flat top pistons
*Arp main studs
*Total seal piston rings
*Ford oil pump
*timing chains from ford
*repair both cylinder heads (will be needing a few valves)
*ford racing head gaskets
*arp head studs
Add: Extra
*Cam phaser sprockets (did not come with the cylinder heads requires 2
*24 manley heavy duty boosted valve springs
What I am doing with the truck:
-not drag racing, or maybe once or twice a year but nothing serious, it is a 4WD
-have a reliable DD on 92 octane
-once a month go on logging roads, no crazy off-road, I have a set of TerraGrappler tires, I just love exploring the country
-fun with accelerations
What I would like to upgrade on the truck:
-injectors
=>which injector size should I get? 60, 80? I was told tuning 80 is difficult?
-torque converter that is city driving friendly
=>2600 or 2800 or else?
-custom CAI (I want a loud whine)
=>I need to know how I can get a custom one?
-larger TBS, stock is 80mm
=>is it worth going from 80mm to 90mm? Stiegemeir can port the Roush blower to match the TBS size at 90mm
-nitrous kit
=>which kit should I get?

=>any suggestions?
fuel system upgrade
=> I need to get rid of that K&B BAP, which drop in fuel tank or fuel system should I get?
custom tuning
=> I don't want email tunes anymore, I speak from experience from Troyer and JDM, I feel like a local dyno could do better
I'm in Seattle, WA area, I believe the best shop around is either TMS http://www.themustangshop.com/ or MSC http://www.marysvillespeed.com/
They both have a dyno, worked with JDM and have an SCT license for F150
