Wink

The self contained system by ProCharger. Best bang for the buck. Don't settle for anything less than a D-1SC and the 3-core intercooler. You can bolt it on in a weekend.

I can't stress the street level results we got from the ProCharger FAR exceeded output other positive displacement systems produce. The centrifugal design ran down the positive displacement units out there. ON THE STREET.

But these systems make quite an entrance, BELIVE ME. Especially when two in a row pull up at the local gas station. We've been there. COPS TRIP. But we like the menacing aural and visceral notes like you get from the ProCharger... And it turns heads. They are menacing and have BALLS.

We have been spotted at intersections by members at random in Dallas, and told they sound like a combination of a freight train and a 747 coming up on a street light (when combined with a custom Raven exaust). And you can find the thread in these archives.

Big tires and serious gears! If re-tuning is not too hard to come by, I would take the wait and see approach. Lower gears will help the Vortech spool quicker, I'm sure.

for the very small difference between 4.56 and 4.88 i wouldnt bother...thats alot of money for that small of a change and honestly you will barely feel a difference. I think you will be happy once you get some boost goin.

make sure it's an inter(after)cooled system...

run larger injectors and get a good tune, a tranny shift kit won't hurt anything either

That Vortech will make enough to throw rods...

My aftercooler vortech kit on 12lbs did 450rwhp/450ftlbs on a conservative tune. I would leave the gears you have in there.

You might have to throw on a boost a pump....

Smaller belt and smaller pulley...

I was running an electric fan and true dual 2.5" exhaust through the exhaust manifolds, factory cats, and Magnaflow dual in/out.

That is actually a very conservative tune... We saw numbers that began with 5 and backed it down. I drove at this power level for nearly 40k miles. I took it off to go a different route, but the blower was stout that's for sure.
