Saleen supercharger help

I have the opportunity to purchase a Saleen blower w/ only 3k miles on it for in the neighborhood of $1k. The only problem is that it only includes the blower, air cleaner and oil tank. I would have to buy the rest of the kit seperately to include the intercooler and related hoses, belt, injectors, alternator mounting bracket, wiring, couplers and misc. fasteners. Is it worth it? The seller is telling me that it will cost me $2500 to get all the needed parts from JDM. Accurate or no?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I wouldn't do it. I sort of doubt someone will sell a new broken kit. If you're thinking about doing it, I would call JDM and see if that is even an option getting the additional parts.

Yeah I kinda feel the same way. The guy says the reason it's only part of the kit is because he sold the truck and the guy that bought it didn't want the blower and was supposed to remove it and all related parts but all he got back was what's included. If that were me, I'd track that guy down and get it all back.

I don't think just the blower is even worth 1000 bucks!

sounds like a fishy story to me, or maybe the guy is just retarded. I highly doubt someone would spend around 4k atleast for a complete kit and then pull off just the blower and leave the rest. It could have just been a bad thief lol

Oil Tank?? There is no oil tank, it's a self concealed unit.

The blower itself is integrated as part of the intake. They are one in the same. That's honestly all you really need. The factory air intake with a different tube is what Saleen uses(maybe he is talking about the JDM upgrade). You would need to get the flip setup for the alternator, and maybe the cross over tube.

Everything else is just basic OEM lightning/mustang stuff. If you shopped around you can probably piece it together and get it working for another 1k.
