true, then add some larger injectors, shift kit and get a custom tune and you'll be real happy

yeah i think if i went with a super it would be a saleen.
that will be my next mod once i hit 36k miles and my warranty is over. i will also have to start putting some pennies back into the piggy bank because i just blew half my money on power side steps and dynatech LT headers!

ya your never going to get a strait answer here...everyone is going to claim what they have as the best as usual...i suggest doing you own research this place will get you no answers....
basically there are 3 types, roots, screws, and centrifugal. Roots make more heat then a screw so it is not as efficiant and most are tapped out nearing 12psi making ALOT of heat, which is why a screw at 8psi will always make more power then a roots at 8psi....period. The average 2.3 screw can make 20psi no problems low heat. A centrifugal suffers from lag much like a turbo due to the piping involved, but makes the least amount of noise of the bunch. Decide for yourself

Mine is set up this way and it works great. You have to have boost to waste though, probably a D1 in place of P1 of you're looking at Prochargers. A blow through maf is needed and tuning is a challenge.
