Getting the ole Powerdyne Rebuilt

I'm sending my supercharger to 928 motorsports for thier top of the line rebuild, has anybody used them before?

After the rebuild i'm going with 42 lb injectors, 90 mm MAF, 255 lph fuel pump and it will be Dyno tunned by Moore Tunning in Lakeland, FL.

928 is a good outfit. A couple of people here are using the super impellar, not sure of the name exactly. Is that part of your rebuild? I have heard that the BD11a will make about 12 psi in that config.

As suggested, an intercooler is a big plus.

Yes an intercooler is in the near future once all the parts come in. I'm doing a custom air to water system.

ONELOWF: I'm getting their super powerdyne rebuild with impellar, shaft the whole nine yards, I hope it is worth $1,300.00

Hmmm, who can say what any of this stuff is worth? lol I'm sure that includes the impellar. You will like the result.
W/A intercooler will yield the least loss of boost. You can add water/meth injection too. It works well with centris.

I think it will be a good set up. My powerdyne lasted for 80,000.00 miles, the only thing that broke was the internal belt.

I was thinking about this whole intercooler thing today. As the Powerdyne runs so cool with no oil and yours will be vented, ..... would it be possible to cool the air enough with just a water meth injection set up??? I think I am curious about this. I use w/m myself, but on a hotter s/c.

Edit: Here's one........

Waiting two weeks has to be getting old.

That's a thought, but I already have everything to install my intercooler.

I finally got the truck Dyno Tuned and was only able to put down 224hp at the rear wheels. On the same Dyno a supercharged Harley F-150 only did 270hp at the wheels.

Oh well, it still moves pretty good for a big truck!

Mooretuned uses a Mustang dyno which will yield lower numbers.

Hey ONELOWF, I'm ditching the intercooler and going with a water/meth injection.

I would consider a progressive system without an intercooler. That way you can have a little meth/h2o with a little boost and more with more boost to match the spooling up of the s/c. Mine spools up very quickly, so I just just use a single pressure switch which is set for ~ 4 psi. Good luck with it.

I have an intercooled procharger p1sc kit and i can't get more than 41 psi in the fuel rail. The fuel pressure regulator won't produce any more reatriction on the return line when it is under boost. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem??? I am not using the supplied FMU, I have 42# injectors and a 90mm L maf. Any suggestions will be helpful.
