Whats the best exhaust set up for a turbo truck?

Not sure if I want to go too extreme wiht the headers and exhaust yet with building the turbo project.

What is the best set ups for front mounted turbos on these ford trucks?

You want to pay most of the attention to the downpipe. If the turbo you have is running something like a 4" V-band then try to have a smooth 4" downpipe at least until the bottom of the firewall. After that you can go down to 3" plumbing with mufflers. Don't let anyone tell you that mufflers or dual 3" plumbing is too small and will cause backpressure issues. They are wrong and I know of a 8-sec turbo Mustang with full exhaust that would prove it. Keep the bends smooth and use a set of quality mufflers so you don't annoy everyone you pass by.

Yep, both are right. Stay away from the chambered mufflers. I like to use the straight through bullet style race mufflers on the turbos we have done. the hair dryers are going to muffle your exhaust note a good bit any way and I have always been surprised at how much the Bullets, even though straight threw, reduce noise. But at wide open throttle, it doesn't matter what muffler you have, when those waste gates open everyone is gona know your coming.
