Got my truck back from the installer/tuner this morning. There was traffic on the way home but it opened up for a few miles and... WOW
what a difference over stock. The acceleration put my @$$ in the seat and the sound of that supercharger whine is unreal.
The only hint that something isn't quite stock is the H/E peaking through the front bumper. Damn CA and their stupid license plate laws!
Awesome...I did the same thing to my 2000 Expedition...The sound the blower makes is incredible and the power increase is definitley noticeable...That looks like the Air Force One intake set up too?

Sweet man take it to the track and get some times.
Probably not anytime soon. I've got no traction, especially not from a dig. maybe when I get some new rims and tires and do something about the rear end.

too much man. These mods seem to pile up, so while it cost around 5k for just the supercharger all told, I'm going to look into getting true dual exhaust to lower my boost pressure.

oh yeah man. Makes driving soooo much more fun
Well, its a C&L intake tube I got off NLOC with a cheap air filter on the end. I'm probably going to get a K&N filter to stick on the end of that.
I took my truck to Swanson Performance in Torrance. I'd heard good things about the shop from friends and NLOC. It's a small shop but they kept me apprised of how the install was going and were very knowledgeable about what they were doing. I hate shops that don't tell you whats going on or you can tell they are feigning knowledge.
well, you tack on installation (which I had to since I didn't have the time and mostly the knowledge, it is my DD) and a bunch of supporting mods (oil separator, less restrictive exhaust (about to ditch the y- pipe) and it all adds up. I suppose one could collect deals on parts for a while and do it really cheap too though, I just couldn't wait to go blown
