00 f150 back to stock vortech

i think i might do the sc lightning swap so i decided to sell the vortech system i have on my truck. i got a good price on most the lightning supercharger stuff and just need another 1000 worth of stuff including a tune. What do i have to get to put my truck back to stock. like air filter system and stuff like that. thanks

how much you selling the vortech for? 4.6 or 5.4?

If your going to do the L swap,,you'll need an L air intake not a stock one!

ill probley ride around stock for a while. so i can get the parts together. ill probley see if i can sell localy and maybe swap the parts with the other person. how much are vortech systems going for. it probley has less then 5000 miles on it. its a 5.4 kit off an 00 f150

there was one in the classifieds for $1400 with extra's

the vortech kits are not a swap between 5.4 and 4.6 like the procharger kits are... I called vortech and they told me a 5.4 kit will not bolt to a 4.6 but I do not see or understand why.


you'll need a stock air intake assembly and whatever else you swapped out for (injectors maf etc)

It appears you talked to a tech that doesn't know his own product line. Here is a link to the install manual that clearly shows the 4.6/5.4 are the same kit.

The pulleys are different. I think crank pulleys are different. Think most of it is the same other than the small details.

man, that sucks, guess I may have passed some wrong info on and may have cost myself a supercharged vehicle Pat grab that kit in the classifieds
