Great customer service from Art Whipple!

I've had a chirp/whistle from my whipple supercharger for about a year. It would start from a cold start and go away after driving for a couple of miles. Truck ran great the whole time. Had a local shop look at it a couple of times but never had it resolved. I decided to call Whipple Superchargers and they took down the info and said a compressor technician would get back to me in the next day or two to discuss the sound. Next thing you know I get a phone call and Art Whipple was on the line! I couldn't believe it. He talked me through the issue and suggested a few things (he's planning to send me a new pulley belt, pulley spacer, and maybe two new idler pulleys to get this resolved). He noted that out of about 2-3000 superchargers that he's sold, he's seen this issue about 30 times (on mustang kits, f150 kits, and the GT kit). Hopefully my noise issue will get resolved but I am thoroughly impressed that the creator/owner of Whipple Superchargers would call me personally to help me out. Now that is customer service! That one phone call alone has made me a lifelong loyal customer!

That’s good to hear. Whipple’s great customer service is one of the main reasons I decided to go with the Whipple twin-screw supercharger instead of the other alternatives that I was looking at.
