Twin turbos on an f150

Has anyone on here done this on a non-lightning f150? How much work would be involved if someone wanted to do something like this?

similar stuff, and the usual trans mods.

is your truck a 2 wheel or a 4 wheel?

Pilot (mark@skidmark racing) did a single turbo in his '01 supercrew and he's got his kit up for sale, it made over 900rwhp

different setups cost differently depending on how much you do yourself (and how much you know how to do) if I was you I'd look at a hellion twin 57 kit for a '99-'04 GT an then modify that to fit the truck

I have a 1999 F150 supercab with the 2V Triton 5.4L. I don't know too much about turbochargers, but i'm sure if I read enough i could do most of the work myself. The hard part is finding the kit at a reasonable price. Right now i've got a couple other projects planned for the truck but i kinda had this crazy idea pop into my head and wondered if anyone else had done it.

I forgot to mention that my truck was 2WD. That project sounds pretty cool minus the fact that I don't have a lightning engine to do it with . It's just an idea since I want to work on the exhaust first, add a CAI and a programmer. I'm looking at trying to make the truck a total beast with the engine that's in it, but I know it can only handle so much power. Also I don't have the funds to do everything yet :/

the lightning engines are the same block and heads as the other 2 valve 5.4 engines the internals are different and you can add lightning internals and work your existing heads and intake (port and polish) and then run an air to air innercooler.

there's a couple used superchargers in the classified adds that you could install pretty easy

My question would be why? not to flame on your idea, but would it be for show purpose. your better off going single and getting a more efficient turbo. yeah you might have zero turbo lag but you could gain more power at less boost with a more efficient turbo.

twin turbo's would possibly outperform a single and most twin turbo kits look, sound and perform awsome

yeah, but you could always spool one big ass turbo like nothing with a big 5.4 V8.
