Oil Return Line for Supercharger

Guys,
What type of fitting or line is everyone using to drain the oil back into the pan from the supercharger. I don't like the stock vortech line. I'd rather have a nice fancy aluminum AN type fitting to thread into the pan. I actually will probably take the pan off and weld a bung onto it to thread the fitting into. I hate the little bit of oil that always leaks out of the Vortech line/fitting that comes with the kit.
Any ideas of an upgraded fitting that i can thread through into the pan or weld on to it?

Here's mine. I used the Vortech method with the punch... a little unnerving but it worked fine.

Which fitting do you have on there?

I'm trying to remember. The first one is male pipe thread ( 1/2" x 18 npt??) going into the pan, and an-8? male x an-8? male 90* elbow, and a an- 8 female x 1/2" barbed....then the 1/2" rubber hose to a 1/2" barbed by 1/2" npt?? into the blower.

?? You need to verify the 1/2" npt into the pan with Vortech's instructions, and check the thread on the drain coming out of the blower as well.

I braized the fitting to the oil pan. never had a leak again. it is hit or miss with the oil return line. some i know it worked and in my case it never worked.

There is too much made of the oil pan tapping. It took longer to go get the fittings for mine than it did to tap the pan and hook up the drain line. I have not seen a drop of oil leaking from there after nearly two years. It is a zero pressure / gravity drain.

I'm going to do that same thing this time around... Had a belt come off and it almost ripped the return line out.... No more of that I"m fixing it permanent this time. GOt tired of the very small drip of oil too..... Just want something more stout than a tap.
