A well tuned Procharger setup will shred plenty of tire. I make over 450 ft-lbs on my Procharger and it certainly doesn't need redline to make its presence felt. The kits for the 3V trucks are much better built than the older ones. Centrifugals are more efficient compressors, so while they won't hit quite as hard on the lowend, you can run more boost and really with everything said and done there isn't that much difference. A 12 psi ProCharger makes as much boost when you step on the throttle as a 8 psi Eaton. Pully up the Procharger, get a good bypass valve, and a get a very good tune....won't have any problems except traction. If you are buying a kit new then do yourself a favor and opt for a 3-core intercooler (very worth it) and a D1-SC head unit (if possible). Costs a hell of a lot more to upgrade those parts later.
