^^^^^ After four months, the pics may not be coming. There was another thread that had pics of an 04'+ with the STS kit. I did not like the pipe running so much lower than the frame... it would drag on a lowered truck like mine.

Ive had alot of contact with STS and they are a very good company in my opinion. A bit out of my price range but I believe a guy had 4PSI and made like 36xRWHP and like 480RWTQ IIRC.

Edit - Just noticed a guy made a link to the thread I was talking about.

Ive seen a STS mustang around my dads place too. It was badass!

there was a sts powered 6 liter GTO in the town I just moved from, the car was fast from a roll but I never saw it from a dig.

I had a lot of contact with freddy from sts and I decided that Procharger was the way for me and I am very satisfied with the results.

before the got-pressure site closed down there was a guy who built his own remote turbo kit and it was incredible from what he said

all we need is some actual proof from these people runnng the STS kit, in form of pictures or even better some video'd runs

Bleh... having the 04+ 4.6l makes me mad in the aspect that I really have no options (besides possibly a universal STS turbo) to charge my truck.

I really don't understand why just one company doesn't put out a single charger for the 4.6l. There is a demand, and they would own the entire market for it.

they are still trying to get it off the ground

What if...

has anyone measured the throttle body on the '05 and newer 4.6 engines if it would interchange with the older ones than an older 4.6 supercharger would pretty much bolt right in since the heads are still 2valve

The truck your talking about is mine, pics came later, but I do have them in my gallery to check out. No dyno sheets yet but hopefully going to try and get it back on the dyno this fall once my business slows down some.

Not as fast as my '03 Lightning but not bad for a 4 door 4x4.
Have a good one.

here is what i posted on the other Thread about STS

Had one

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

in 2004, when the new 3V's first came out, I had a custom setup to help their R&D for the kit. Was assisted by Crash ( DEREK ) and them at Trixstersracing. For having to draft up everything myself with the guys at texasrearturbos, the bends, cuts and so forth, it was fairly simple. The self tuning was a pain, no baseline at that time or anything to compare with. I loved the setup, there was no lag due to the V8 having really good low end power from the getgo. All was great til I blew the motor playing around, i am sure thought that the ACTUAL kits have a good tune that comes with it. I can only imagine how much easier the install has got to be now that the kits have come out. Like I said, mine was fairly simple and that was with us measuring, cutting and bending the tubes ourself at the local exhaust shop there. Good luck, I think you will love it, don't know which I love better, the Turbo or my new Whipple. Both have there own pro's.

I'm not sure what the differences are between the 03 and 04 4.6. I would do some research on this and adapt a Procharger.
