power hungry

im tired of my exhaust intake and programmer...I NEED MORE POWER!.........should i go with a s/c or are there other mods i should od before getting a s/c......if so what?....and if i should just supercharge it, what s/c is best for my truck or would it be good to just get one off a lightning.....i got a 2000 5.4 ext cab.. thanks!

Well I built my engine and put a ported lightning blower on top... I'm happy with it!

A better question would be,,,how much do you have to spend?

First you need to find a kit like this.

Then you'll need most of this kit that Mike sells.

Then you'll need a custom tune for your computer to make it all work.

so im looking at around 5 grand if i get it professionally installed?...which i plan on doing because i work everyday and its my daily driver so i dont have the time or resources

I prefer my procharger, I've got less than 3 gradn with the upgrades butI prefer my power higher in the rpm range.

depends on where you want your power which supercharger to run, most people are more than happy with the eaton swap
