No, as long as your truck gets the service work it needed up to this point it should be fine. If you do normal service of all the fluids in the truck and keep it in good shape any truck should be fine. The ones that have problems are people who abuse and neglect their trucks. I have 51k on the speedo.

I had 50K on my truck when I installed my Roush, so you should be good to go.

Roush's Roots S/C is the most complete kit out there. Its one of the more expensive if not the most expensive kit. However if you plan to upgrade for more power, the roush comes with the 42lb injectors and all the goodies. However stock it doesnt make the most power.

Whipple's Twinscrew 8PSI is probably the most power out of all the supercharger setups out of the box. However to upgrade it cost more then say the roush.

Magna is cheaper, but still a real good kit! Its only a 6PSI kit (I believe) but will still make alot of power.

There is also an expensive turbo kit from STS and a few cheaper centrifugal S/Cs out there too!

at 80K due to a faulty injector. After we had the motor apart there really wasnt much damage at all, probably could of replaced he injector and plug and be done with it. Except we already ordered the parts and it is was already out so I rebuilt it.

I was also running custom tuning and a bigger lower pulley upping the power and drove it like I stole it.

my question would be how good are the internals say on my 07 5.4 3v engine? how much boost can they handle safely before you have to worry about dependability ? I would love nothing more then to strap something to the top of my babies engine!!!
