Papper work is all the same.
But there's 2 different intake manifolds! One for 5.4 and one for 4.6. Sounds like your trying to put a 5.4 intake on a 4.6 motor.
This guy was talking about someone making an adapter that might work for ya. Ask him.

Wow, I have been away from these boards for a while. Did not know Allen went out of business. That sucks since I have an Allen kit on my 4.6.
Sorry to tell you this but the upper and lower intake “IS” the kit, along with the heat exchanger that fits in the intake. Everything else (even the blower) is available from other sources. You are probably not going to find just an intake.
There are some adaptors that will allow the 4.6 intake to be used on the 5.4 but not the other way around that I know of. The reason for the adaptors is the Mustang guys are putting 5.4’s in their cars and need the lower profile 4.6 intake to fit under the hood. A company here in Maryland makes the adaptors. I contacted them to see if they would fit in reverse and was told they would not. If there were adaptors available you would see a lot of Lightning conversions on 4.6 engines.
You may need to cut your losses and sell the blower kit to someone with a 5.4. The intakes are very different.
You may want to try to contact Mike Troyer at Troyer’s Performance as he is still listing these on his web site. It may be hard to get Mike on the phone but he may know of a source for the intakes.
Good luck.
