Got a built transmission!

I started a few threads asking what you guys are doing that have boost and automatics. After many questions and phone calls I finally got a built transmission. I decided to go with Dirty Dog Performance. Alan answered all of my questions that I had and was a pleasure to do business with. I ended up getting a 4R75W with a billet 12" converter. I went through two factory transmissions one lasting 3 weeks and now that i have a built transmission all I can say is wow. I highly recomend Dirty Dog Performance to anyone that is ready to make the move from stock to built.

$1800 with a core. My truck had a 4R70W and he recomended the 4R75W due to the internals being heavier. I sent him my trans harnes and he repinned it so i could run the 4R75W off of the 4R70W programing. I am very happy how everything has worked out so far. I have made some short pulls and its amazing how good the truck moves with a good transmission. Alan even went out of his way to meet me half way when I was picking it up.
for Dirty Dog performance.

I was looking at a monsterbox but that 4r75 swap sounds like a better deal.

I looked at the monsterbox also, I found a lot of mixed reviews when i was looking for people with them. I really didnt find tons of info on Dirty Dog Performance but he is located 200 miles from me, I called him multiple times to ask questions and he was always happy to answer them. I was just really happy to hear he had it done in a week, then he offered to meet me so i didnt have such a long drive. If you have any questions just give him a shout, he was great to do business with.

Built54, I know you have read all of my posts and I have nothing but good things to say about Alan. I am just glad I have a real trans now. Before I would go out and be nervous about beating on it because I didnt want a trailer ride home, now I drive it like I want and im loving it! By the way sweet truck

thanks. how much power are you putting to the wheels? Im just under 500 at the wheels, and im very surprised the stock tranny held up so good, though i've heard the e4od is a very strong unit. Alan told me he can build mine to hold 800hp for less than $1500 and have it back to me in a week... sounds pretty good.
