CEL - cam sensor???

ok so heres the deal... my truck was broken into last week (window broken and stereo stuff stolen) while at the repair shop, they saw the check engine light and took it to the dealership. i received a call and they said it was something related to the cam sensor. of course these repairs arent covered by the insurance. ok i KNEW the check engine light was on, its been there ever since the day i installed the supercharger. but the truck runs great and i never had the time or money to look into it... so does anyone know anything about cam sensor problems and how it might be related to the supercharger? thanks,
