Ya, I agree. Always a little tense on dyno days... LOL!

Just make SURE all your tubing clamps are secure. Blowing those things off at WOT will give EVERYONE a heart-attack!

Heh!

If it's going to blow, I would rather it blow on the dyno rather that the middle of nowhere. That's my theory.

basically... if your gonna get a supercharger, get a Factory Tech Valve Body for your tranny. Johnny Lightning Performance now has their own brand of aftermarket valve bodies but i guess time will tell on the durability of JL's. Either way, your tranny will probably get slopier and slopier over a prolonged period of time depending on how much power your truck is making. A valve body will definitley add to the life of your tranny though.

As long as you are not standing too close! LOL!

The only one we have seen disintegrate on the dyno was a KB. That and we have blown tubes off the ATI a couple of times on Marks while dynoing, and I blew a tube off racing on the street.

Scary! LOL!

I've blown turbo intercooler connections off before. Nothing like the sound of 20psi blowing around under the hood!

why do you need a file to lock it out of OD when you can just hit the button on the shifter.......

On the Eddy Current dynos, there is an inertial load (It simulates actual road conditions). To get accurate sensor data, we leave it on. In this case, with OD locked out, we still get a WOT upshift to OD, which skews data.

For comparison to a Dyno Jet (No load), our final pulls will be with inertia off.

Tenderizer's initial dyno tune. 5.4 L. Stock block, D-1SC and a 3-core. DE-tuned for reliability, we added 20% more fuel and pulled 5-6 degrees of timing. I am digging up the tuned graph after the engine was built, and will post it soon.

We gained about 100 HP and 180 FT/LBS, as I remember.

Also will dyno my turbo 4.6 on Saturday, and will post a graph ASAP.

Brad's Vortech numbers, after fuel upgrades and tuning. I apologize, but don't have the engine size. Hope he will come along and fill in the gaps for me!
