Did you leave the blocks in on the rear or remove them?

The factory 2" lift blocks? No they both are on my garage floor, besides these djm brackets force you down to a single spring center bolt instead of dual.

My truck is longer than most of yours, can that play any role or difference in this?

Well your rear is 4" but you also removed the blocks so thats another 2" drop

and you used Struts up front? I bet they are 2 " struts for a 2wd which uses shorter struts than 4x4. So theres your extra 2" up front as well.

Ok, your first post is pretty important. You have Belltech 2" coils that you say you may have to put the spacer in. Well Belltech only makes 1 coil for these trucks, they are a 3" drop coil that comes with a spacer to make it 2". So you are at a 3" drop from a 2wd. Which with that big of a tire, looks about right.

The rear you say you have a 2" lift shackle. That has me questioning what you actually have. There is no 2" lift shackle. There is a 1" lift shackle that goes on the rear of the leaf spring, and there is a 2" lift hanger that goes on the front of the leaf spring. Which one is it?

True, using blocks with a flip kit would make me even lower but I no they are off the truck, for the shackles, djm makes or claims to have a 2" lift shackle and I've seen this on eBay, summit racing, etc.... the 3 inch coil thing sounds to make sense AZ I just I was sure when I bought them they said 2" lowering and 1" with spacer, I'll look at the part # when I get off of work.

Easiest way to get 2/4 on a 4x4 is 2wd struts. Remove blocks and add a 2 " shackle

Here is Belltech's site.

http://www.belltech.com/products/pro...ng-set-18.html

It says "Front Lowering:2.0" to 3.0"" then it shows a picture of the springs and the spacer for to lift it back up from the 3" to a 2" drop.

Here is DJM's site.

http://djmsuspension.com/application...-f-150-2wd4wd/

The 4" flip kit has "A rear lowering kit which consists of rear axle flip kit and brackets to set the rear at a 4″ total drop!"

The 5" flip kit has "A rear lowering kit which consists of rear axle flip kit and “shorty shackles to set the rear at a 5″ total drop!"

So if you put a DJM lifting shackle on, then it is a 5" drop. If you put a bracket on the front hanger then you have a 4" drop. I have had both, and there is absolutely no way to even make a 2" lift shackle, there isn't room for it.

As for the 4wd stuff, none of it really matters. You have removed everything that makes the 4wd higher. So if we forget about it being a 4wd and aim to get you at a 2/4 2wd height it will be less of a head ache.

Lets get this cleared up. Do you want your truck 2/4 lower from what it was originally(basically leveled 2wd)? or the height of a 2/4 dropped 2wd?

Exactly, I am pretty certain that he actually has a 3/5 drop. Then with those big 305/50/20 really takes up the fender gap.

AZ is the man, basically right now I have a 3/5 drop and its too much of a concern to me. I want a 2/4 2wd drop as some kits are intended for. The flip kit I bought didn't have shackles or hangers and several times I ran across the random so called 2" lift shackles and I know I'm not alone, I did some Googling and found other guys went the same exact route in the rear and found out you must have hangers to get to 4" back there. I would of ust did 3" leaf springs in the rear if I knew this in the beginning. The coil spring spacer will get done tonight as I have alignment set for tomorrow, the rear.... well gotta wait for funds for hangers, rents due!!!

Glad we could help. Being that you pieced it together, do you have aftermarket bump stops in the rear? 5" drop with stock bump stops wont leave much room, if any at all. I recommend the Belltech bump stops if you don't have any, nice smooth bump, not harsh at all like the DJM Polyurethane bump stops.

So if my math is right based on what you said you installed. Your 2/4 turned into a 5/8 drop
