The bed liner makes for a durable surface and aides in rigidity. I use high density particle board and resin glue x 1 bottles, 2 tubes of silicone and 5 racks of 2 inch brads to assemble each one.= resin glue and a nail every 1/2 inch staggered and opposed to build these. Terminals on the back handle double bannana clips to make hooking up easy. These should SLAP as my daughter says...lol

So I've been practicing with the new equipment. The EQ's adjustments are not working the way they should. I should of known not to skimp on it but lesson learned. I'm returning it and I just got a much better one. Dual 31 band pro grade will work very nicely over the 10 band.

Well today I pulled the trigger on a mod I've been wanting to do but never had the ***** till now. It's gonna require cutting and modification but you only live once and I figured what the hell. If something goes south on me it's only a fender or two and some paint and my buddy is the painter anyway. I shopped around and the price range on them is crazy. 60.00 at Cervini direct and anywhere else was 160.00...nuts. No mark up there..LOL
I found the template on line and put up to the fender just below the newer badges and I looked at hundreds of pictures of 04-08 f150's and It looks like the fenders have the same basic curve to them but the top of the fender body lines are harder then the 97-03's. So I'm diving in and if I start to screw up I'll call Kevin the owner of Gibbs autobody...lol He's gonna love me..hahaha

Okay, today we have forward progress on the fender vents. Fenders are cut, vents have been primed, guide coated and wet sanded. Here a few pics. Kevin said the vents should be painted and installed by the time I get off work tomorrow. We shall see..lol

Got color and final will be tomorrow. Had a glitch in a clear coat delivery..lol Just a FYI these vents are for a 04-08 f150. They will fit just fine in a 97-03 with the same line up marks. we just pushed the template forward about a inch because we didn't like the way it met up with the rear of the fender.
