Status King Ranch build
I bought this truck last year and wanted to have air suspension. I tried out the Ridetech setup and have been using it since summer. I really don't like that setup and I can't get very low with it. After much thought I decided that I want my truck done right. The plan to do this was expedited by the fact that Two of the upper link brackets broke and my driveshaft got ripped in two at the u joint. I was going to go to Ekstensive but they had a waiting list and I wanted to get the truck done sooner rather that later. I was reffered to Status and gave them a call. I talked with Spot there and I decided to have them do my truck. I went to Dallas a couple of weeks ago to check out the shop and I was further satisfied in my decision to go with them!
The purpose of this truck is to be my daily driver. I want a comfortable ride and I want to be low but I don't want to be limited in where I can go. I also would like to be able to blend in and look normal from time to time and lift the truck back to stock height. I have a car hauler that I use to haul my Lightning around and I have four wheelers as well. I hate when a trailer make a truck sag so being able to be level all the time is important to me. They will be installing a retractable air hose and I already have a milton fitting that I use to run air tools.
The front will be getting custom made arms with removable ball joints and tubs. The rear will be notched and a 3 link will be used with the bags mounted to the backside of the axle and the bed tubbed. They will be putting my spare tire winch back and I will have my spare tire underneath again. I finally got some pictures from the suspension guy Kris! He said the rear will be done by next Tuesday.
Further plans for the truck are to lose the rolling cover and get a tasteful camper shell. I'm also considering sending my amplifiers and sound control device to Status and have them build me a box and install all that stuff.
I'm offshore working right now but I will be updating this as I get new information to post or if I get new pictures.

it looks like I'm keeping the running boards on. The frame drops below the body and the running boards are inline with it and cover it up. If i took them off the truck would hover above the ground a few inches. That'll work for me because I wanted to keep them on anyways. .I know some of you won't like it...
