weld-in rollpan as of yesterday!

more to come. tail light fillers go in today, and weld-in 48" LED brake/signal light. handle relocator kit should be in before the end of the week as well. not the best chop, but this is basically what it'll look like all done:

well i cant take 100% credit, the body work i didnt do. welding>me but thanks!

and i was thinkin bout gettin a tonneau, but the bed caps really turn me away from it. theres a fiberglass one in my local craigslist for $75 but i dont wan't it. IF i ever get one it'll be one of the super low profile ones, but i think i'll have the bed caps ptm and call it done in the back

remove the bed caps, shave and weld up the top of the bed, and lay some sheet metal across the bed and weld it in as well

looking good. I guess from the chop you are planning on keeping the lower two tone paint.

always open for suggestions, everyone has an opinion so i respect that. and those are the ones with the paintable backs on em right? thought about that. or maybe some SS mirrors... can't quite decide. eventually tho, everything will be ptm. i'm kinda stuck tho, i'm thinking when i have the front plastics smoothed i want the top to be red w/ the truck & the lower valance tan....this should look fine right?

not worried bout the handles, cuz they're gonna get shaved, & tailgate handle will be relocated this week.

if you're going to get the xlt mirrors get these from ebay the right and the left are only $28 each with free shipping

EDIT: and for the bumper the top PTM to the body and the valance PTM to the lower part of the truck would look really clean, plus it'll be different from everybody else

EDIT 2: something like this

Looks great so far!

Some of my suggestions...

SS Mirrors
PTM Upper Bumper Pad & lower Valance
PTM Grill surround

When you shave the handles, shave the badges, antenna, and wiper nozzles...

Instead of relocating the tailgate handle, make it a electric pop... It is SUPER simple to do this modification and its 100% custom...

If you are interested, I could give you some more info and pictures because that is what I did to mine when I shaved my tailgate.
