Angry Ridin like CRAP ! ! ! ! !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know I posted this in the suspension area already but thought I'd post it here as well. This might be a stupid question but here it goes anyway. I have a 2007 f150 Harley Davidson with a 3" 5" drop on it. 3" BellTech springs in the front and 4" McGaughy's leafs with 1" Hanger in the rear and shock extenders, all on the stock shocks. Well the problem is that this thing bounces all over the place. Goin down the freeway and it some small bumps here and there she shutters and bounces like noones business. Its even affecting my SnugLid power lift tonneau. Have had to get it readjusted 2 times in the last month cause the power rod won't wanna open. Please help me out fellas. I'm hoping that just replacing the shocks will do it but wanna make sure and what ones would you guys recommend for my type of drop. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide me with.

Eibach is top quality as well. The Pro truck damper kit would be a good addition I believe.

when lowering its best not to change the springs, if you would have gotten a djm drop with the lower controll arms and flip kit it would have been almost exactly like stock, the slight change in geometry does change teh ride but not nearly as much as dropped springs

drop springs and the 4wd shocks don't go together. I had 2" belltech shocks on a stock 4x4 shock and it rode like crap. I cant imagine howharsh 3" coils are riding. new 2wd bilstiens solved the problem.

I would suggest going with 2" coils and a high quality 2wd shock
instead of a 3" coils and 4wd shock

Well the front actually isn't all that bad (not great but not THAT bad) it is the back that rides the worst. I'm using the same leafs in the rear that others are that are claiming to get a good/great ride just lowered 1 more inch with the shackle. The ONLY thing that I can see that I have different are the stock shocks. Unless I got some bad leafs.

Are the shocks the issue or are you bottoming out on the bump stops? The rear of my truck is lowered using leafs and shackles and if you dont use a shorter bump stop in the rear in bottoms like a mother!

She's ridin on the shorter bump stpps, I've bottomed out a couple times with a decent load in the bed and it feels nothin like that. She just bounces around. And from what I can gather. lookin at other peoples kits the only difference is the shocks. Just wanna make sure and get your guys' input before I drop the cash.
