belltech 3/4 drop

I just ordered a belltech 3/4 drop kit for my 97 from summit and have a question on the spring hanger installation. From what i can gather I have to grind off the existing hangers, but how do the new ones go on? Do I have to drill and bolt? or rivet? or weld? Any tips or tricks from anyone who has installed this kit before, thanks. And I am not new to suspensions, I have installed at least 10 lift or lowering kits I have just found its easier to know any trouble spots ahead of time. Also I checked the summit website and they had raised the price to something like $640. I remembered it being $460 so I called and apparently they raised the price for September. Luckily they honored the previous price. Sorry for the long post

when you say the shocks suck are you referring to the quality of the shocks or they suck putting them on?

probably quality of the shocks/ ride characteristics

Use grade 8 bolts, and grade 8 nylock nuts... I can take a closer pic of mine if you need a better idea.

patman that would be helpful to get some pics, also looking in your sig it says you have 1% tint on the rears? i have 5% and cant see a damn thing at night, yours must be ridiculous lol. I would have gone that dark if the shop would have let me, who needs to see anyways. I just had my windshield done at 35% and its like driving in a cave lol

well geeting the hangers off can be a pain the butt, what did on the drivers side i put a rag around all the wires and fuel lines, took a tourch heated them up a little and took a air chisel and busted them off dont get it to hot, just enough to soften them up.

oh also it will help to take off the bed to get more room. We used a grinder, and a air hammer/chisel to bust them off quick. Here's a recent pic from when we did my buddies chebby

We used a wire brush attachment for the grinder to clean up the frame, then we sprayed it with undercoating to seal up the raw metal.

Ill get some more pics of mine posted up too.
