emergency brake

ok i dropped my truck 4 in the rear with a belltech kit the emergency brake hanger is supossed to fit the new hanger but its way off any one else have this problem with there lowering kits

I'm assuming you have a '97-'03. I had the same problem on my '01 S'Crew. I cut out the old bracket and moved both of the brake lines below the spring. I then made a new L bracket out of 3/16" x 1 1/2" flat stock and bolted it to the front lower spring bracket bolt. You may have figured this out already, but if you leave the brake lines on top of the spring like it shows in the instructions, they will rub on the tire. Once you move them under the spring, they will hang in the clear.

It's really easy to do. Just use some fairly thick steel to keep it from bending as one of the brake cables pulls against it.
