New wheels today 22" Boss 330's

Got some new wheels/tires today. Nothing wrong with my old ones, only had them a few months. Just wanted a change. I dont know if I like them any more than my old ones. They are Boss 330's 22x9.5 with Kumho STX 305/40/22's. The bad thing is that the wheel design makes them look small. They dont look like 22's at all. My OEM 20's looked bigger.

Old wheels/tires

OEM 20's. Notice that they look bigger than the 22's

Difficult for me to tell much difference without a closeup of the old wheel, but I do like the spokes on the new ones. I'm sure I'll soon see a closeup, in the neighborhood, of the old ones.

Isn't black clothing supposed to make people look thinner? Maybe its causing your rims to look smaller?

Those 330's are nice. I think they look smaller because you can see through them more.

22" $
24" $

I have a wholesale accout with American Eagle/Boss so I get a pretty good deal on them. They go for around $750 for the 22's and $925 for the 24's. That wheels looks a lot better in a 24". I wish I would have got the 24's but the tires were twice as much.

I think black center with the polished lip does make the wheels look smaller. If they were chrome or silver they would look bigger. I thought about getting the spokes painted white. I saw a white Tahoe with white wheels and it looked good. Keeping them clean would be a pain in the ass though.

My brake calipers really look like crap now. If I have time today I'm going to paint the calipers black.

The rims look good. I think the OEM 20s look bigger because of the color matching between wheel and tire having an all-in-one appearance as opposed to the big shinny noticeable aluminum OEM wheel.

Is your rear bumper painted and the front one is chrome?

I got rear ended last year so I got a painted rear bumper. I bought a new PTM front bumper a few months ago but I havent got around to getting it painted and put on.
