Im dropping my 2008 F150 FX2 with belltechs 3/5 drop kit. I want the wheels to look clean under the truck but im afraid 22's will still look small even with the drop, but i dont want the 24's to look to damn big in there either...so let me know what you guys think, 22's or 24's?
The wheel im looking at getting is the veloche vortex. heres a site with them on a F150, pics are at the bottom of the page.
i have groundforce 2/4 with 305/40/22s. looks great and get compliments all the time. i think a 3/5 would rub and i probably wouldnt be able to pull anything. i know that 24s should rub and if you run a 30 series tire you would probably feel the cracks in the road.

I have had 22s and 24s on my fx2, personally with a 305/35/24 it rode pretty good, and I did not rub with a 2/5 on my fx2. It looked just right with the 24s, now 26s were way to big in there.

Here is mine with 24's....I like it. Just need to drop the rear now cause the a$$ sticks up. That truck in your link looks really nice though, in my opinion most 22's look small but they look right at home on that truck with that particular drop.
thanks for the help guys. since i cant decide between the two im ganna compromise and go with the saleen 23's. I think im ganna keep the murdered out theme and have them powder coated flat black. hopefully they dont rub at all. most tires i see for the 23's are a 40 series instead of the 35...might not fit with a 3/5...
don't go 23, the tires are expensive and harder to find. you going for the baller look or the sport truck look?
kinda both...murdered out look really. like rob and big's tahoe....but Fu*k painting my whole truck flat black. just all black. I found tires for those 23's for cheaper than what the guy quoted me for 22's
Off size tires like 23's are extremely pricey and hard to find plus they might be blems or a cheap brand name.
but saleen wheels in gloss black look hot and the flat look would look good if the truck was painted flat black
22's. I'm running a 305/40R22 and they fill up the wheel well nicely with that low profile look.
I have an 07 FX2 and with this 2/5 drop I rub at full turn in the front. 24's would look too big for sure IMO, that's why I chose 22's and they don't look undersized at all.

if you are thinking 22 or 24 go 24...you will hate you did not later...but as far as going "murdered"...when your (mine) 58 year old dad starts saying it looks good and wants to go for it....ummm well i guess its like hearing Bill O'reilly say "bling" its time to move on....i dont know how old you are, but mini trucks, 5.0 mustangs with 5 star momos....all fads dont jump in on the tail end of this one....but florida is a little differnt you guys like the donks, glasshouses, and bubbles with train horns on a lift on 26-30's all while not being sponsered by any candy company, beverage company, or racing team...but feel the need to copy it??????
